Boarding

At Dorr Veterinary Hospital, your canine or feline companion will receive excellent care along with lots of love and attention.

Our canine boarders enjoy spacious indoor accommodations with natural lighting and a privacy wall on either side so they do not come into direct contact with other dogs.  They are given ample opportunity to stretch their legs outdoors twice a day.  All boarders receive a "maid service"  twice a day or whenever needed.  For your convenience, we provide Hill's Canine Science Diet.

Our feline boarders can relax in a dog-free cattery.  Each kitty has a private area with a blanket and litter box.  Based on availability, they will also have the chance, one at a time, to stretch their legs and explore the entire room if they choose.  They also received "maid service" twice a day or whenever it is needed.  For kitties, we provide Hill's Feline Science Diet.

Boarding at Dorr Veterinary Hospital is an excellent choice for all senior pets and those with on-going medical concerns.  Our staff is trained to administer medications and monitor patients for any abnormalities, so you can enjoy some peace-of-mind while you are away.

If your healthy pet develops a medical problem while boarding, our veterinarian will make sure your pet is treated immediately and monitored throughout their stay.

You are welcome to bring your pet's regular food, toys, and bedding if you prefer.  Some pets are more comfortable with an item that smells like home and their favorite people.  Please be aware that your pet is more likely to soil or chew items from home while boarding.  We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items.

All dogs and cats must be current on vaccinations - rabies, distemper and bordatella (kennel cough).

Boarding can be daily, by the week or longer.

Call us  to schedule a reservation.  And, of course, visitors are always welcome!
